DTI Region 2 maintains Level II Accredited Status under PRIME-HRM

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) region 2 retains its Level II Accreditation status under the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) of the Civil Service Commission (CSC).

 

DTI Regional Director, Atty. Ma. Esperanza C. Bañares, accepted the Certificate of Revalidation awarded by CSC RO 02 Regional Director, Atty. Neil Agustin; and Cagayan-Batanes provincial field office director II, Jovy VT. Miguel during the CSC-conducted seminar on the “Strategic Performance Management System” (SPMS) and Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) held in Tuguegarao City on January 6, 2015.

 

The certification is granted to agencies that satisfactory implement CSC human resource management systems/programs which give authority to the agencies to continue to take final action on appointments.

 

Atty. Agustin lauds DTI R02 for maintaining its accreditation, confirming commitments to continuously provide high level standards and quality services to its clients. He committed willingness to provide assistance to the agency in further improving its HR practices, systems and procedures.

 

Ms. Miguel mentioned that in 2012 only 51 among 75 accredited agencies from Non-Government Associations, State University and Colleges, Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations, and Local Government Units reassessed by CSC retained their certification, with DTI-2 counted among the deserving institutions.
