The Aeromart Summit Clark Philippines kicked off yesterday (June 4, 2018) with a Plenary Conference at the Quest Hotel and Conference Center in Clark Field, Pampanga. The Aeromart Summit is a platform to create greater awareness on the growing capabilities and potential of the Philippines in aerospace manufacturing, aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) and aviation training as the country gears up to be a recognized partner in the Asia Pacific for these industries. At the Summit’s Press Conference, Trade Assistant Secretary Rafaelita Aldaba (center) said that with the implementation of a new industrial policy— Inclusive Innovation Industrial Strategy (I3S), the government aims at growing innovative and globally competitive industries such as aerospace parts manufacturing, while strengthening their linkages into the domestic and global value chains with innovation at the core of the country’s strategic policies and programs.
